inBachs / How To Make Your Studio Feel "Professional"
Free Workshop!
I’m going to assume that if you’re reading this email, you probably already know how to plan for private lesson. Warm-up, repertoire, tricky passages and all of the things we love about teaching music.
But when’s the last time you made a plan for your business? I’d love for you to join me on my next workshop sessions that will make you feel like more of a professional when it comes to running your private studio.
I’m hosting a free 60-minute workshop called “Plan Your Studio Like a Professional”
I want to be clear about what it is…
This literally isn’t a webinar, it’s a working session with a small group over Zoom. And you’ll leave with an actual business outline and some great ideas for your studio.
Together, we’ll build out two things that quietly determine how your whole studio runs:
Who your ideal-fit students are. Not “anyone who will pay me,” but the students you actually love teaching and are best equipped to serve. Getting clear on this changes everything downstream: your marketing, your rates, your energy on a Tuesday afternoon after your fifth lesson.
How to communicate your policies clearly. Cancellations, makeups, tuition, summer schedules. Most policy headaches aren’t policy problems. They’re communication problems. We’ll work on saying what you mean so families understand it the first time.
What: Plan Your Studio Like a Professional a live 60-minute working session
When: August 15, 16, 17, 18, or 19, with sessions at various times each day. Just pick the day and time that works best for your schedule.
Cost: Free
You’ll leave with: a business outline for your studio, including an ideal-fit student profile and clear, communicable policies
Quick clarification because you’re probably wondering: “Why is this free?”
It’s a fair question! Basically, this workshop is a great way to get familiar with what we do at Outside The Bachs. There’s no sales pitch waiting for you at the end. You’ll spend the full hour actually working on your studio, and you’ll leave with your business outline either way. If it turns out you like how we work, there will be opportunities to enroll in further free mentorship and education sessions. But that’s entirely up to you, because the workshop is standalone.
If you go out and implement all of the things we talk about and your studio blows up to be a huge success, just make sure to let me know about it!
Your teaching deserves the thoughtful planning you already give it. So does your business. Come give it 60 minutes, where I’ll bring the framework, you bring your studio’s vision, goals & values.
See you there!
