inBachs / How Grace Added 20 New Students to Her Studio

I was lucky enough to sit down with Grace to talk about the transformation she’s experienced in her private lesson studio over the last 10 months.

Grace shares how she tripled her monthly income while growing her studio from 9 students to 28. That’s 20 new students, 9.5 additional weekly teaching hours, and an increase from $1,080 per month to $3,640 per month, all while building a schedule that guarantees 6 weeks off each year.

The growth is impressive on paper, but what’s even more powerful is how she was able to set this up to make sure there was time off build in to her schedule.

Grace explains that the biggest change was her mindset. She developed confidence as a business owner and began executing on things she had previously avoided or put off, like hosting recitals and collecting testimonials. Tasks that once felt intimidating became exciting opportunities to strengthen her studio.

She also shifted her approach to growth. Instead of relying on paid ads and purely digital strategies, Grace leaned into organic, community-based connections. This change helped her build deeper relationships, attract aligned students, and create momentum that felt sustainable and fulfilling.

Most importantly, Grace now has a clear long-term vision for her studio. She’s moved from doing what she felt she should do to building a studio she genuinely wants to run. That clarity has reignited her passion for teaching and given her a renewed sense of purpose and direction.

I’m so excited to share Grace’s story with you and hope you take away as much inspiration and clarity as I did.
